Son Teach Me

It's been a while son, I'm so many years old now, yes, I can't remember any of them anymore. 

I wish I could live back to start and learn it all over again but nature doesn't permit that. 

I help you with your home work, please help me with my life work. I come to you boy because God said so. God says I should look up to you because His kingdom belongs to children such as you son, so teach me. 

Son teach me...

Would you please teach me how to Love, Trust, and Obey. These are the lessons I need from you boy, your dad needs help. 

Son, as I got older, my ways changed.

My boy your love is unconditional. Even when I hurt you, your love doesn't change. And you always want to be with me. 

Sometimes it took long to honour my promise to you but you were patient and trusted my word. 

You did all I told you without knowing what you were getting yourself into boy.  And you did it my way not your way. 

So now Jesus is telling me His kingdom belongs to children such as you, so teach me son...to be like you.
